This is the area prior to and in much need of a major renovation.
After
The idea of the bridge was the catalyst for a major renovation of one portion, of the upper level on this layout. The bridge was designed and built to accommodate the existing double main line and passing siding that traverse this area. The final details including a parapet railing and LED lights have to be installed. aubv@aol.com
Details length. 96" height. 7.75" width at base 13.5" deck width. 11.375" left abutment 5" right abutment 6" 16 arches- approximately 5.375" dia each
Materials
1/2" & 3/4" plywood 5/4" pine MDF Masonite Noch embossed paper glue, plastic shims, screws Spray paint

Thanks so much for posting this unique creation. Got any more photos? I never get tired of looking at it, and I've been trying to figure out a way to incorporate something like it in my (eventual) layout.

I finally installed the railing. Unfortunately I forgot my camera so phone pictures with have to suffice temporarily.

Thank you for your comments. I added the picture of the area prior to the renovation and will add some other pictures of the LED lighting some time next(?) week.

Here are some new pictures with the LED lighting installed. The bridge now has down lighting in the rear and up lighting in the front. The 2 dark arches on the left end will have road way installed and additional LED lighting install inside the tubes.
