New here, inspired here.

I'm. attempting to follow Dale's and others circuits for activating a relay using an insulated rail on 3 rail track. All is working coils click, operate, however the insulated section of track is receiving AC voltage equal (12vac) to voltage feeding the bridge from AC transformer. Voltage is read between the 2 outer rails or between the outer insulated rail and center rail. Track power is Off. The insulated rail has a 16ga wire soldered traveling to the bridge AC common point of connection. There is constant AC power between insulated rail and bridge matching the power supply to the bridge. Post A goes to bridge and post U goes to insulated rail and then to coil. DC + to coil and DC - to coil from bridge. Train wheels across the outside rails activate relay coil.

I'm feeding AC power to the track through the common AC connection.

I believe the bridge is correct but that does seem to be where my trouble is.
