I really enjoyed your photo and voted for it. I have only recently begun experimenting with weathering and have a lot to learn. So far, I've just weathered a few structures, no engines or rolling stock, but I'm excited about the possibilities. There was a time not too long ago, when the idea of weathering a perfectly good and shiny new locomotive was a really scary proposition and something I couldn't consider.

Thanks for showing the way!

Thanks for the vote. This is my 3rd car that I weathered. I learn a new trick every time I do one. Just jump in with booth feet and enjoy the water. Also practice on some old stock 1st. You can pick up some cheap shells on the bay. Also if you go to tws-rustbucket.com they have a lot of useful info and tips.
